I am so excited to share with you my little one's nursery. Venturing into boy territory is a whole new world and the nursery was kind of my first run at it. It took me awhile to finalize how I wanted it to look, but well worth the wait. I knew the room had amazing natural light with big windows & I wanted something bright, airy, & soothing. It is a little extension nook right off our master bedroom which will be perfect until he's ready to move into his own room down the hall. Right now it's my favorite room in the house!
The dresser was actually mine as a baby (my parents kept it in storage for me to use for my children). Aaron and I gave it a little facelift with a fresh coat of Amy Howard At Home One Step Paint & some new hardware. I think it's so special to include something from my baby nursery into my little one's.
I'm obsessed with the gold round mirror & got it for a very reasonable price! Our little changing station
Delta Children designed this gorgeous rocker for his room. It looks so perfect in the nursery & looks like Rylie already found her favorite spot!
I love this Madrot Glass Globe light fixture from the Project 62 collection. It couldn’t be more perfect for the room.
This nature mobile brings beauty and wonder into the space. It's a favorite piece for his nursery. A fun, dreamy touch for him.
The crib has a mid-century modern feel & I also love that it can convert from crib to toddler bed to daybed as your babe grows.
I love added pops of green to bring in some color. This bunny was a shower gift and it is so incredibly soft!
The wall decorations above the crib are what I struggle with finalizing. I had so many ideas but since this is part of our master bedroom I didn't want to attach anything TOO permanent. I thought about removable wall paper but to be honest, the thought of putting it up was too much of a hassle.
The shelves are simple & elegant. I love how it plays off the mirror and all the gold accents in the room.
I love elephants & was so excited when I found this print at Home Goods. The author is Simon Te & I think his animal drawings are perfect for a nursery.
An oversized storage crate adds a whimsical touch to a corner of the room. It's also a perfect place to house all the cute muslin swaddles.
I hope you loved baby K's nursery and I hope you can find some inspiration for your own home!
